Drivers face verification system

We built a complete software solution to identify the validity of drivers with the help of face recognition. The Mobile application which is in drivers phone takes photos, GPS coordinates & time stamp at certain intervals of time and sends relevant data to backed server that performs validation and generates necessary alerts.
1) Developed robust Android application with features such as: Camera operation, GPS coordinate tracking & communication with back end server.
2) Built an intelligent server using Python with Machine Learning & Computer Vision libraries like Open-face, Torch, Dlib & Opencv. The Server is capable of recognizing the trained faces with 95%of accuracy and is scalable to handle large number of concurrent requests.
3) Created a deployment architecture and hosted the solution in AWS using EC2, S3 and Load Balancers.

Smart Garbage Collecting Robot

Autonomous robot capable of moving around and collecting specific objects and function as an efficient Garbage Collector. The robot is capable of detecting objects such as Coke cans, water bottles, etc. and is capable of learning about different shapes and add them to the library. Technologies used – Open CV with Python, Dropbox APIs, Raspberry PI Board and Camera.
